The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) is pleased to present, Preventive Medicine 2004. This meeting, being held February 18-22, 2004 in Orlando, Florida will serve as a national forum for physicians, healthcare professionals, policymakers and other health professionals with an interest in preventive medicine. The meeting annually focuses on four major program areas:
- Public Health Practice
- Clinical Preventive Medicine
- Healthcare Quality Improvement
- Prevention Policy Issues
The American College of Preventive Medicine is the national
professional society for physicians committed to disease prevention and health
promotion. ACPMï more than 2,000 members are engaged in preventive medicine practice,
teaching and research. ACPM seeks to advance the science and practice of preventive
medicine by providing educational opportunities for its members, advocating public
policies consistent with scientific principles of the discipline, participating
in national forums to address important professional concerns, and communicating
developments in the specialty through a peer-reviewed journal, newsletter and
